The unique Kimberley Karavan off-road caravan:

  • Will go off-road anywhere and everywhere a 4WD will safely go;

  • Is completely self sufficient with diesel powered cooking and hot water system;

  • Has a monocoque composite shell & unfolds from a cocoon only 5m long, 1.91m wide, 2.1m high.

  • There is no canvas in it’s design apart from the awning and walls externally.
  • Previously the rules at Purnululu were that no caravans were permitted within the Park, although off road trailers were.
    Then in 2006 WA DEC gave permission for the Kimberley Karavan to enter.

This has opened the way for other brands and recently DEC decided to review this policy:

    • SINGLE AXLE off road or heavy duty trailers, caravans and other towable units ARE permitted in the park.

    • DUAL AXLE trailers, caravans and other towable units ARE NOT permitted into the Park and will be asked to leave.
  • There is discussion on a new wave of restrictions with waste water in National Parks. There are some areas that have introduced restrictions.
    In Preparation for this and to protect customers, the Kimberley Karavan Limited Edition and Eco-Suite Signature Edition Models are now fitted with a grey water tank as standard.
