Based on vacuum technology, Kimberley Karavans have as standard equipment a lightweight toilet with a porcelain china bowl.
When the toilet is flushed by pushing down the foot pedal the vacuum in the system is released. The bowl is instantly cleared and the waste is moved through the piping at 2 metres per second to the remote cassette.

After the toilet is flushed, the vacuum pump continues to run automatically recharging the vacuum in the system. A cassette full indicator on the control panel indicates when the cassette is full and needs to be emptied. The powerful vacuum flushing action in the porcelain china bowl also enables very low energy and water consumption - only approximately 0.4 litres per flush! No smells and no chemicals.

The cassette is installed remotely from the toilet on the front A frame. There will be no smell in your Kimberley Karavan when using the toilet. The strong, high velocity vacuum-flushing action breaks the waste down on route to the remote cassette. Therefore, no chemicals are needed to break the waste down nor eliminate the smell. A truly environmentally friendly solution.

The waste can be released into ANY septic system, pit latrine or regular system.
